VIP Series: Donna Street Community Center, Inc.
Verizon is proud to play an active role in giving back to the communities it serves. It was a privilege to join the Donna Street Community Center for an opportunity to enrich the local community on the ground, at a local event bringing comprehensive programming to all residents.

VIP Series: BronxWorks & HYPOTHEkids
A lifelong love of STEM must be fostered from a young age—that’s why Verizon was proud to support BronxWorks and HYPOTHEKids to bring hands-on science to children in New York City and beyond.
Over the summer, hundreds of children convened to take part in enrichment opportunities the Verizon Digital Inclusion and STEM Enrichment Grant supported. At the HYPOTHEkids table, kids were even able to learn how to make their own stethoscope!

VIP Series: The Northside Trap Run
Verizon was proud to support The Northside Trap Run–a revolutionary 5K experiencing blending hip-hop and community engagement. This family friendly walk/run event is hosted by Young Friends of the Ville, a committee of Northside Community Housing, Inc. The run highlights the often-overlooked beauty of communities throughout St. Louis.

VIP Series: Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA)
Immerse yourself in the rich history and awe-inspiring art collection at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA), based in Long Beach, California. MOLAA is the only Museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino Art. Today, the permanent exhibition features over 1,300 works of art.
MOLAA enriches the surrounding community not only through the robust art collection, but also through stimulating community cultural events and comprehensive educational programs. Verizon & Para Los Niños: Family Day at Gratts Primary School
Verizon was grateful for the opportunity to attend Family Day at Gratts Primary Center in partnership with Para Los Niños. Representatives were on hand to distribute school supplies, educate the local community on connectivity options, and foster the growth of the next generation of STEM leaders. The Verizon Impact Partner (VIP) series highlights Verizon’s partner organizations working to transform the communities they serve. Here, we feature Digital Girl, Inc., based in Brooklyn, New York.
Digital Girl, Inc was founded in 2014 to combat the persistent lack of diversity among Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) professionals, and to develop a love of STEM among inner city youth so they feel encouraged to pursue careers in the field. Verizon is proud to partner with Digital Girl Inc. to foster the growth of the next generation of STEM leaders.
