ACP In the Community: Goodr

Earlier this month, Verizon and Goodr, a local non-profit, teamed up to run a mobile grocery store at the Andrew & Walter Young YMCA in Southwest Atlanta. With a shoppable 26-foot truck, the store was stocked to give 200 food insecure families food for a week.

In addition to free groceries, Verizon was also there – along with Safelink Wireless and the Diversity Cyber Council – to educate attendees about the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) as part of Online for All’s ACP Week of Action.
