Rhode Island Inno: Mocingbird wins Get Started Rhode Island competition

A Wakefield-based company trying to streamline the medical certification process took home the grand prize in the Get Started Rhode Island competition Wednesday.

Mocingbird, which is developing a platform that simplifies the ability to track and store medical certifications, was chosen out of a group of six finalists by both the judges and the audience, netting the startup a total of $30,000 in cash and another $25,000 in services from the event’s sponsor Cox Business.
