Memphis Inno: University of Memphis receives NSF grant worth $3.8M to build out cybersecurity workforce
The University of Memphis’ Department of Computer Science received a $3.8 million grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to build out the cybersecurity workforce in West Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
The grant, given under the NSF’s CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, will provide full scholarships to individuals who agree to work in the cybersecurity sector for the government after graduation.
