WPRI: Providence Business Implementing Thermal Scan Technology To Detect Fevers

 Many businesses are preparing for when the state reopens the economy and Gov. Gina Raimondo has warned restrictions will need to be in place, including temperature screenings as a possible requirement to enter.

“The better you do of making your place of work safe, the more likely people will have the confidence to go there,” Raimondo said. “We are almost certainly going to have to do some form of temperature checking, so you might want to think about that.”
