Verizon, Hudson schools distribute laptops to students
Thousands of laptops were distributed recently to Hudson City School District students as part of the rollout of the Verizon Innovative Learning program at the district. Through the program, students and faculty at the Hudson Senior High School and Hudson Junior High School are eligible to receive Chromebooks with built-in internet access. The program also provides enrolled schools with funding for technology coaches and professional development support for teachers to integrate the technology into their classroom, according to a press release from the school district. Through the program, schools in the Hudson City School District received over 2,000 laptops to give to students and staff.
