San Diego-based Sekr, a startup which develops an app which provides a database of free and dispersed campsites aimed at “digital nomads”, has raised $2.25M in a seed funding round, the company said on thursday. The funding was led by Storyteller Overland, Backstage Capital, Techstars, Ad Astra Ventures, Crescent Ridge Ventures, and Andy Ballester, co-founder of GoFundMe.
