Providence Journal: Just Like Old Times: Showcase Reopens Warwick Cinemas With Classic Movies, Protective Tech

Only two of the 26 Showcase cinemas in the United States are open. One is in Rhode Island.

For those who prefer their movies on the big screen, Friday brought the return of a pastime placed on hold for three months with the reopening of Warwick Showcase Quaker Lane near East Greenwich. By early afternoon, the cinema complex, newly modified for the pandemic era, had sold 118 tickets for Friday viewings and 180 tickets for shows this weekend.
