Providence Business Journal: Texas firm that plans 250 RI jobs OK’d for $3.5M in state tax credits

A Texas-based technology firm that announced plans to create 250 jobs in Rhode Island has qualified for up to $3.5 million in state tax credits. The MTX Group, a company that develops software solutions, announced its job creation plan in a Tuesday news release and promised to establish an office in Rhode Island, but didn’t say where.
