New Jersey Public Schools Join Digital Promise & Verizon Innovative Learning
On Tuesday, May 4, Digital Promise and Verizon welcomed Trenton Public Schools, Jersey City Public Schools and New Brunswick Public Schools into the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program (VILS). Verizon’s education initiative provides free technology, access and professional development that enables students to develop the skills, knowledge, and capabilities needed to thrive in today’s digital world.
Nine schools from these districts will join the VILS program this year: Jersey City: Joseph H. Brensinger School and Mahatma K. Gandhi School; New Brunswick: Lincoln Annex, McKinley Community School, and New Brunswick Middle School; and Trenton: Dunn Middle School, Hedgepeth Williams Middle School of the Arts, Joyce Kilmer School, and Luis Munoz-Rivera Middle School.
