After finding a suspicious rash on her mother’s skin in 2016, Tara Viswanathan took her mother to doctors in her hometown to help her heal. Even with antibiotics, steroid shots and other treatments, nothing improved. Viswanathan ordered a special set of labs to treat her mother. She discovered issues such as low magnesium and vitamin D as well as microbiome imbalances.
